Data collected

When you use the contact or demonstration request form: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, the topic or use case chosen, the size of your company if you state it, your message, and your choices regarding the privacy policy and marketing information. We do not ask for any sensitive data: please do not include any in your message.

To protect the forms against abuse, the server temporarily uses the sender’s IP address to limit the number of submissions. This information is kept in memory for at most one hour and is not stored with your request. The server’s technical logs do not contain the content of the forms.

Purposes and legal bases

• Answering your request and preparing a meeting or a demonstration: pre-contractual measures taken at your request and legitimate interest in responding to enquiries received.
• Occasionally sending you information about SMART AI: only if you have ticked the box provided for this purpose (consent), which you can withdraw at any time. Without it, you receive no marketing communications.
• Securing the website: legitimate interest in preventing abuse and automated submissions.

Retention period

Requests are kept for three years after the last contact if no business relationship follows. Consent to receive information is kept until it is withdrawn.

Transfers outside the European Union

Data is hosted and processed in the European Union. Should a provider access it from a third country, the transfer would be covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Demonstrators and calculator

The demonstrators and the calculator run entirely in your browser. What you change in them is neither transmitted nor stored.

Local storage and audience measurement

The website remembers your privacy choices in your browser. No audience measurement tool is active today; if one is added, it will only be activated with your consent. Details are on the Cookies page.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to it, request its portability, and withdraw your consent to marketing information at any time, by writing to contact@smartai.lu. You can also lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data protection authority (Commission nationale pour la protection des données, CNPD).
